Psychological Therapy

Psychological therapy provides a safe, confidential space to explore difficult experiences, unhelpful patterns, and emotional distress. It can help you understand yourself more deeply, develop healthier ways of coping, and build resilience and flexibility when facing life’s challenges, especially those that feel familiar or recurring. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms. It’s about building self-awareness, processing and healing the impact of traumatic experiences, improving relationships, and creating lasting, meaningful change in your life.

Our Approach

We offer a range of evidence-based psychological interventions, including:

  • Schema Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Person-Centred Therapy

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

 Our Philosophy

We understand that reaching out can feel daunting, especially if you’ve been struggling in silence or carrying shame about your experiences. You might feel like you should be coping better, or worry that your problems aren’t “serious enough.” We believe everyone deserves support, and that whatever you're going through is valid and important.

This is a space where you’ll be met with warmth, understanding, and respect. We offer a calm, compassionate environment where we work at your pace to make sense of what’s going on, and help you move towards relief, understanding and meaningful change. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you come. We will work with you to develop a bespoke and evidence based treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

The Process

Therapy is a collaborative process between the client and therapist and is usually defined by three stages. We will begin by taking an assessment of your personal history, the problems you’re experiencing and what you hope to achieve. We will then work together to develop a psychological formulation as a way of understanding your difficulties more deeply. It is a shared understanding of what’s going on and what might help you move forward. From there, we will develop a treatment plan, using evidence-based approaches tailored to your specific needs.

A supportive relationship with your therapist is the foundation of therapy, offering safety and understanding. The trust you build in therapy creates room to explore, take small risks, and practise new ways of connecting.

Getting Started

We understand that choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming, and it’s not always easy to make decisions based on a website profile. To help you feel more confident and informed, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where you can ask questions, share what you're looking for, and get a sense of whether we’re the right fit for each other.

Psychological therapy is priced at  £120 per 1 hour session. We also accept referrals from Bupa, WPA, Aviva and Vitality.
